I also would like to see details provided of the work which took place and the contact which was made between the Council and the company in question from the outset, whenever that was,” O’Donovan commented.“I also think that it is time for full details of the lease including the commercial arrangements to be made public. This is a public facility which has been provided out of the resources of Limerick County Council,” he added.Deputy O’Donovan has written to the Mayor of Limerick City and County, Cllr Liam Galvin asking that the Audit Committee of the Council be given the resources to carry out a full review of the whole process.“The concerns of residents are real and need to be listened to and I believe that a fully independent review of the process to date, together with a proper independent due diligence of the entire project be carried out in a public and open manner.” Limerick Ladies National Football League opener to be streamed live Facebookcenter_img Advertisement Previous articleRichard Wagner, The Ring and RomanticismNext articleSocial Democrats planning to tackle Limerick housing crisis Alan Jacqueshttp://www.limerickpost.ie Email Predictions on the future of learning discussed at Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival WATCH: “Everyone is fighting so hard to get on” – Pat Ryan on competitive camogie squads NewsLocal NewsDemand for full independent review of Gortadroma dealBy Alan Jacques – February 19, 2016 798 RELATED ARTICLESMORE FROM AUTHOR Twitterlast_img
