She is a visiting assistant professor of history in the Middle East at Willamette University.“Her primary research focuses on minority groups and modern citizenship in the Middle East with emphasis on Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan, and the questions of gender, race, religion and ethnicity,” according to a news release from the interfaith coalition.After the talk by Sadeghian, there will be time for group conversations.
